Pricing
The ladder is free and stays free. Every premium surface below is open to any account right now, free while ClutchRank is in early access — and when Premium does go on sale, most of what you pay will not stay with us. Accounts created during early access keep their access.
Your subscription backs the scene, not just the site
Ranking players is the easy part. The hard problem in this scene is that being excellent does not pay — travel costs money, brackets cost money, and prize pools are thin. So the plan is for a subscription to do something other than buy you a leaderboard.
Back a player
Pick anyone on the ladder — your regional favourite, the person who runs your weekly — and a share of what you pay goes to them. Not a tip jar you have to remember: it just happens, every month.
Grow the prize pools
Another share goes into a common pool used to sponsor tournaments and raise their prize money — starting with events that already exist, and eventually running our own.
Keep the lights on
The rest runs the servers and the crawling that keeps 1.9 million sets rated every week.
Payouts to players will run through Stripe, which handles identity checks and pays them directly — we never hold anyone's money. The exact split will be published here before a single payment is taken, and you will always be able to see where yours went.

Several of these features are already built and running — they are held back until the numbers behind them are ones we would defend in public. The methodology page explains what is measured and what is still weak.
